McLeod's English School was founded by Mrs. D.E. Leuiz, an eminent educationist from Scotland, with the intention of providing English education to the local people. The school received its affiliation from CBSE Delhi in 2010, which marked a significant turning point in its history. In 2015, Mr. Shimjith Damu became the managing partner of the school and took charge of various developmental activities. He initiated the construction of new buildings, including spacious laboratories, an auditorium, and smart classrooms. These efforts were aimed at uplifting McLeod's English School and establishing it as one of the best schools in Kerala.
